Montemartini Centrale di Note
The Centrale Montemartini opens its doors to music for a new spectacular event, a series of concerts will be held among the masterpieces of ancient art from the Capitoline Museums and the machines of industrial architecture of the former power station, from October 29 to January 8, 2011, every Friday and Saturday at 8.00 pm and 10.00 pm.
The Calendar of Concerts:
October 29 and 30: an evening dedicated to movies, starring Andrea Morricone featuring Paolo Zampini (flute) and Primo Oliva (piano).
November 5 and 6: Pasquale Laino, Alessandro Gwis and Andrea Avena play Paolo Buonovino’s soundtrack.
November 12 and 13: Stelvio Cipriani.
November 19 and 20: Quintetto Cirano play Nicola Piovani’s sountracks.
November 19 and 20: Claudio Simonetti.
December 3 and 4: Paul Millns (vocals and piano) and Butch Coulter (vocals, harmonica and guitar).
December 10 and 11: Elisabeth Cutler.
December 17: Little Princess.
December 18: Silenzio Assenzio (Francesco Infarinato: keyboard, piano, drums; Gabriele Capocchi: saxophone; Bruno Talone: trumpet and sound effects; Luca D'Intino: double bass).
January 7 and 8: Tony Esposito and La banda del Sole.
